The school was founded in the year 1997, name after the founder concept of springwood, so called springwood school (SWS), run by Param Gyani Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Samiti, Neemuch. Late Sh. Mahendra Prakash Choubey and Late Smt. Snehlata Choubey were the founder of the school. The school is now managed under the able guidance of versatile educationist Ms. Charulata Choubey, the secretary, Param Gyani Swami Vivkanand Shikshan Samiti, Neemuch. She is also the Director, Springwood School Neemuch.

It is their guiding spirit which has moulded the school and made it a leading institution in the city today. From its very inception it has been a school with a different thought process, drawing its inspiration from the teaching of Swami Vivekananda. The aim of school is building an integrated personality, a personality that is a harmonious balance of the different elements that constitute our being, our body, our thought, our feelings and impulse, our aspiration and our seeking.
