Beyond the Classroom (Co-Curricular Activities)

Talent has always been recognized, encouraged and nurtured at Springwood Provided. Students are provided wide exposure to exhibit and enhance their inherent talents through participation in various inter-house and inter-school competitions. The school is wel;l recognized for its performance in competition at various levels.

House System

The entire school from class I onward is divided into four houses with the prime objective of in-calculating the qualities of leadership, co-operation, mutual understanding and a sense of team spirit. It is compulsory for each student to be the member of a house. Each house is under the charge of a House Master/Mistress along with House Captains and Prefects. Various inter-house competition and activities are organized in order to encourage healthy competition.  

Service to Society (NCC)

Students at Springwood are encouraged to be compassionate member of the community who interact with one another and the community with integrity. Activities that foster a lifelong commitment to community service are a regular part of Springwood's outreach programmes. Opportunities are regularly provided for students under NCC(National Service Scheme) to get involved in community service programmes and initiatives on campus and in the community. 


Educational tours are organized from time to time in festival or winter holidays to provide first hand knowledge to the students. Educational tours comprise visits to places of hostorical importance and sight seeing.

Games and Sports

Prime importance is given to physical fitness and sports activities in order to bring about a co-ordination between body and mind. The infrastructure provides for a spacious playground consisting of separate courts for different games like volley-ball, basket ball, football, lawn tennis, cricket, skating, table tennis and a play zone for pre-primary students with different kinds of swings.
